For structures on a pier-and-beam, or crawl space foundations with interior problems, we use the Interior Pier and Treated Girder System. This is a two-step process. First, a concrete footing is poured with two sections of rebar. After a minimum of a 36-hour drying process, adjustable steel posts (with lag screws into girder) and/or concrete blocks (with mortar) are installed in order to raise or support joists, walls and flooring. A Treated Wood Girder System connects the piers and steel shims applied where needed.
